Jesolo 2018: the opening ceremony
07 Giugno 2018The flag parade will open the Championships on friday 8 june at 7.00pm, in Piazza Aurora, Jesolo.
See you friday 8 june at 7.00pm in Piazza Aurora, Jesolo. That's when the U23 Mediterannean Athletics Championships will officially start, with the flags parade of the 25 teams on the Lido amphitheater, few metres to the crowded beaches of Jesolo.
The Leopoldo Pellas Fanfare from Jesolo, directed by Professor Luca Scarpi, will play the Italian National Anthem, followed by an artistic show and the speeches from the Mayor of Jesolo, Valerio Zoggia, the LOC General Director, Vito Vittorio, the President of the Italian Athletics Federation, Alfio Giomi and the Co-President of Mediterranean Athletics Union, Fathi Hachicha.
